California Banning State Funded Travel To Florida
Reports are telling us that California is banning State funded Travel to Florida because of laws that discriminate against members of the LGBTQ community.
California’s Attorney General Rob Bonta added has added Arkansas, Montana, North Dakota, and West Virginia Along with Florida to the list that now has 17 states where state employees cannot travel. Attorney Bonta says, “We’re in the midst of an unprecedented wave of bigotry and discrimination in this country — and the State of California is not going to support it.
According to NPR, the Florida legislature that Bonta is referring to is the one that prevents transgender women and girls from participating in school sports consistent with their gender identity.
