It’s the second time this has happened in less than a month. A Florida Man learns about high tide.

A car owner learned a valuable lesson about high tide and low tide and obeying parking signs clearly posted along the Courtney Campbell Causeway. Clearwater Police posted this photo today with a message to any would be visitors: “This is what happens when you drive in an area off the Courtney Campbell where you shouldn’t be driving. It’s the second such incident in the last few weeks at that location.”

The other incident they’re referring to happened on June 20. Although signs were posted, someone decided to chance it. Clearwater Police shared the valuable advice: “Be very careful of where you park when you go for a walk at sunrise and the tide comes rolling in.”

The vehicle swamped by water off the Courtney Campbell is removed by special towing equipment earlier this afternoon. ...
