Florida Man Wins $1 Million Dollars While Back To School Shopping For His Daughter
This Florida man was rewarded with a million dollars while just out and about being a good dad. Cleveland Pope Of Brooksville, Florida was out back to school shopping for his daughter who needed a new backpack.
“I just happened to be on a different side of town from where I normally buy Lottery tickets, all because I was looking for a specific backpack for my daughter to start school with,” Pope told the Florida Lottery.
Apparently dad was taking a break from backpack shopping as he bought the winning ticket from the Beverage 50 liquor store in Brooksville. I get it, back to school shopping can be stressful. The ticket Mr. Pope was playing was the BILLION DOLLAR GOLD RUSH SUPREME, If that sounds familiar, that’s the same game Adam Charlton of Port Charlotte just won $15 million dollars playing. That scratch off is hot right now.
Cleveland Pope took the lump sum payout of $880,000. I’m guessing his daughter has the most amazing backpack in school.
The Florida Lottery is also doing a bonus promotion with this ticket:
Good luck everyone!
