Monday morning begins with some good news for one person in Arcadia. Carl Layport of Arcadia Just Won A Million Dollars On The Gold Rush Supreme Scratch Off! Seems like this ticket has been hitting a lot lately.

According to the Florida Lottery, Carl bought his winning $5 Gold Rush Supreme scratch off ticket at the Circle K, located at 4347 Southwest Highway 17 in Arcadia. I haven't been over that way in awhile. Did they ever finish up all that construction over there. I remember it being a mess.

50 year old Carl, who can now consider retiring, is taking the one time lump sum payment of $880,000. I sent Carl a friend request. No response yet.
