Simone Biles opens up about still ‘being scared’ to do gymnastics
Simone Biles opened up about her mental health in a new interview, in which she shares some of her current feelings about gymnastics. Simone has a partnership with Cerebral, which offers mental health services to everyone. Simone did express that she has been dealing with her mental health a lot better, but still has work to do. She said that “do something that I’ve done forever and just not be able to do it because of everything I’ve gone through … because I love the sport so much. I’m still scared to do gymnastics.” The CEO of Cerebral said, “What you’ve done to fundamentally change mental health and how people view mental health and destigmatize it, is just so powerful for so many people.”
“I don’t think people understand the magnitude of what I go through.”@Simone_Biles tells @hodakotb about life after the Tokyo Olympics, the next chapter of her gymnastics career, and working for the health and telemedicine app Cerebral.
