Miley Cyrus Took Pete Davidson To A Gay Bar, He Loved It
On last night’s (December 9) The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Miley Cyrus and Pete Davidson appeared jointly on the late-night show.
Cyrus, 29, and Davidson, 28, met on SNL and kept in touch, reminiscing about one time when they went out to a gay bar together and got matching tattoos. “I took Pete — I think it was your first time going to a gay club,” Cyrus said as she looked over at him. “Everyone loves him there.”
“I loved it,” Pete added, with widened eyes. “I felt like the coolest guy ever.” Miley remembered looking over at Pete at one point, and saw something quite shocking on his head. “I was just like, chilling there with a drink, and I guess for like 20 minutes, this guy’s d— was just on like on my shoulder,” Pete recalled. “I had a bruise the next day.”
Dressed as babies, the pair went and get matching tattoos at a point in their lives that Pete described as “a very dark time in our lives,” which Miley denied, so he added laughing, “maybe for me, personally.” Their inspiration for their tattoos came from Larry David asking, “What is going on?” and them responding, “We babies.” For some reason, Miley and Pete thought that was a great tattoo idea and had Pete’s tattoo guy come to 30 Rock to give them the matching ink. Davidson has since lasered his tattoo off, so his “We babies” tat is hardly legible.
The duo also teased their New Year’s Eve special on NBC, with Miley calling Pete the “funniest, coolest, hunkiest guy in the world.” Miley invited Pete to join her special to provide comedy for audiences, while she provided the musicianship. As we earlier reported, the singer and the SNL star will co-host a two-hour event called Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party, which will air from 10:30 PM ET to 12:30 AM ET. The special is executive produced by SNL head honcho Lorne Michaels and will air live from Miami, Florida, and apparently, there will be “a star-studded lineup of special guests and musical performances for a must-watch evening.”
Cyrus and Davidson will be competing with top-rated Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve hosted by Ryan Seacrest, which airs on ABC. Ryan Seacrest’s NYE gig beat the Oscars in ratings this year and ranked as the top-rated entertainment show on television last season. Carson Daly hosted NBC’s New Year’s Eve special from 2004 until last year.
