The Great Purse Purge
It’s time for the great purse purge, volume 1.
Purses, computer bags, man bags, backpacks, they hold our lives. We throw and go constantly and I am the worst. It doesn’t matter if it is a big boho bag or compact compartmentalized bag, at some point it becomes a bag of chaos.
After taking several trips back to back, I was in a rush to get out the door and could not, for the life of me, find my keys. They were buried in my purse under so much random junk there was only one thing to do.
It was time, past time really, for the great purse purge.
I always love seeing photos and videos from my mom friends, showing the crazy things they find in their bags; half eaten granola bars or banana peels, a Barbie doll head sans the body, a nerf bullet, used Band-Aids, you name it.
The best part is discovering treasures such as that one earring you thought you lost, an important business card, or even better…MONEY. So here we go. I emptied by bag took a deep breath and dug in.

I tell you, it feels good to clean out and tidy up. Now I can find my keys. The lipsticks thought to be lost in my car or left in a hotel room are back in my make-up bag safe and sound, and the chocolate…well we’ll save that for another time.
This is just the first installment. The Great Purse Purge will continue randomly through the year so check back occasionally.
