Sunset on Upper Captiva Island, another great Florida beach destination only accessible by boat

Fresh off a week long vacation, I have beaches on the brain. You don’t have to go to the Caribbean to find great beaches. Today, we’re discovering Florida beaches for TikTok Tuesday. These are all relatively easy to get to, some are well known while others are hidden gems.

I’ve put together a few that stood out on my TikTok feed this week. You don’t have to subscribe to the site to enjoy these videos

The first one is mine. I took the video while in Naples recently. This beach is at Pelican Bay and it’s just fantastic.

If you like the water but don’t like to get all salty, this looks like a great alternative and an affordable one too. It’s a weekend road trip, a few hours north of Southwest Florida at Gilchrist Blue Springs State Park.

The beaches in the Florida Panhandle are amazing. The water is bluer, the sand seems whiter. Although I’ve been to Destin many times, this spot, Crab Island, is not one that I’m familiar with. Not a traditional beach but it sure looks like a good time.

Here is another one from the Panhandle. Santa Rosa Beach. It looks so quiet and peaceful. Can’t you just picture your umbrella right here?

And we have to look on the Atlantic side of the state too. This one in Jupiter is a little closer than the Panhandle and the water always seems just a bit cooler.

While discovering Florida beaches for TikTok Tuesday, perhaps you can find some zen in looking at these waters until you are able to actualy put your feet in them.

Don’t forget to take some sunset photos while on the beach and submit them here for Sunny’s Summer of Sunsets getaway.
