Every year the Florida Department of Education (FDOE) grades individual school districts in the state. As your kids, grandkids, nieces and nephews  return to the classrooms this week, what grades do Southwest Florida Schools get?

According to a story in the Fort Myers News-Press, the scores, overall, are pretty good. Each district is scored on the traditional A-F scale. Those scores are derived from eleven different categories that, not surprisingly, include standardized test results.

Not only does the report break down grades by county, but also by individual schools. If you want to see how a specific school ranks, The News-Press story also includes some of that intel as well.
