It costs $6.48 a bag. Pour this in a bowl for your next party and I can almost guarantee it will be a hit. If nothing else, it will be a fun conversation starter.
I haven’t tried it yet but from what I hear from those who have, think of this in terms of kettle corn. It is both sweet and salty. Only this one has those colorful little bits like the cereal. The description on the bag calls it a “coating.”
Now here is the big question? We all know what beverage to pair with Trix cereal–milk. However, what goes with Trix Fruity Popcorn? Milk sounds entirely gross, well at least to my palate. I’m going to go with prosecco. It’s sparking, fun, crisp, slightly fruity. I may just have to try this out for my next Wine Wednesday post.
Cereal popcorn! This just made my Monday Funday. I do love Trix, however, the cereal popcorn I would really like to see next is Cap’n Crunch. The original flavor but even better, the peanut butter flavor. Oh heck, why not the berry flavor as well.
