Sunny Christmas Tree

That's what I got when I came into work today. An early Christmas tease. Early in many ways. First of all, it was early in the morning. For some reason, I felt like I was sleepwalking today. On the way in, I stopped at Starbucks across the street from the station. Thank God they open at 5am. I had a total of one sip before walking into the bright lights of our hallway.

Look at that. Southwest Florida's Christmas station has their own Christmas ornaments. Perfect

Stumbling through the studio door, trying to muster up some energy for the show,  there it was. A little baby Christmas tree! The first one of the season in my personal circle. Those at the department stores don't count.  As much as it lifted my spirits, I have to admit it caused the slightest bit of panic too. I know all Christmas heaven and hell is about to break loose.

We know that Sunny 106.3 is Southwest Florida's official Christmas station. Pretty soon John Mellencamp and Pat Benatar will step into the wings while Bing Crosby and Mariah Carey move in with their Christmas crooning. That's where this awesome contest comes in, Guess The Flip.

Can you guess when we will flip the switch and go to all Christmas music? If you guess right, you could win a getaway to the Gaylord Palms Resort near Orlando. I don't know what kind of tease the mysterious arrival of this tree is. However, someone, somewhere is getting ready.

I heard they were out. Now I know it's true. Starbucks is busting out the Christmas cups.

So here is what an early Christmas tease looks like.
