Florida Is Home To 4 Of The Top 10 College Towns In The Country
Preparing for college is one of the most daunting tasks a high school student faces. The applications, the essays, the transcripts, the visits, the list goes on and on. The education is of course most important, but where the school is located is a huge factor.
It’s no surprise we see Florida on this list multiple times towards the top. Our weather, beaches, theme parks and night life are sure to attract the 18-20 somethings attending college.
Wallethub conducted a study to find out what the best college towns are in the country, and 4 of the top 10 are right here in the Sunshine State. So, where are these towns?
#3 is Orlando
#4 is Gainesville
#5 is Tampa
#9 is Miami
Obviously absent from the list is Tallahassee, which comes in at #42, home to the Florida State Seminoles and Florida A&M. Read the full report and list here.
