Get Free Ice Cream At Ben And Jerry’s In Naples Today
A few weeks ago, Dairy Queen celebrated the first day of Spring with Free Cone Day. And now Ben & Jerry’s is doing their own version!
It’s been a few years, but Free Cone Day at Ben & Jerry’s is back! The goal this year is to give out more than 1 million scoops to ice cream lovers around the world.
Unfortunately, there’s not a ton of locations, but here in SWFL there is a Scoop Shop in Naples. Between 12-8pm, you can stop into the Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Shop at Venetian Village in Naples on Gulfshore Blvd N. There’s also a location in Sarasota in St Armand’s Circle if you happen to be a little further north.
A great perk to Free Cone Day at Ben & Jerry’s is that there’s no limit to how many times you can get in line for free ice cream, so make sure you show up hungry!

Ahhh, waterfront dining. The perfect combination of delicious food, refreshing drinks, and gorgeous views. There’s just something about dining by the water that just makes everything taste that much better. Perhaps it’s the salty sea air that adds a little extra flavor to your meal, or maybe it’s the sight of the water that soothes your soul and opens up your appetite. Whatever it is, waterfront dining is definitely something to write home about.
Thankfully, living in SWFL, there’s no shortage of great places to eat on the water. Since Hurricane Ian came through and destroyed so much of our paradise some of those places aren’t open anymore. But there’s also some that have bounced back nicely. In fact, one of my favorite places, Parrot Key Caribbean Grill, just reopened, so I can’t wait to get back there and enjoy a Key Lime Colada and the Cajun Shrimp & Grits. Another great waterfront restaurant I enjoy that has also reopened is the Bimini Bait Shack right at the base of Sanibel Causeway bridge.
Whether it’s the West Coast or the East Coast of Florida, there’s something for everyone from casual beachside cafes to fancy five-star restaurants. Want to dig your toes in the sand while you munch on fish tacos? There’s a place for that. Prefer to sip a glass of champagne while you watch the yachts sail by? You can do that too.
The writers at USA TODAY put together a list of the best waterfront restaurants in Florida. You can check out the full list here, but below are 1o that are in and are closest to us here in SWFL. So, if you want to eat locally or take a trip around The Sunshine State there’s some great spots to check out!
