Megan Fox is taking back her "freedom" from men with her first book. Sharing the news on her Instagram Tuesday (August 9), the Jennifer's Body actress wrote a poetry book she hopes inspires fans to "take back their happiness and their identity by using their voice to illuminate what’s been buried, but not forgotten, in the darkness." With a November 7 release date, the book, titled Pretty Boys Are Poisonous, is published by Gallery Books. They are the same company heading Britney Spears' memoir, The Woman In Me.

According to Fox's announcement, "These poems were written in an attempt to excise the illness that had taken root in me because of my silence. I’ve spent my entire life keeping the secrets of men, my body aches from carrying the weight of their sins." Fiance Machine Gun Kelly commented on her announcement, "proud of you [fire emoji]." The publisher calls the book a "powerful debut from one of the most well-known women of our time." The book contains over 70 "heartbreaking and dark" poems that "showcases her wicked humor."

Fox, 37, shares three sons, Noah, Bodhi, and Journey, with ex-husband Brian Austin Green. The pair split in 2020 after 16 years of an on-and-off relationship. She and MGK began dating in June of 2020 and got engaged in January 2022. Their relationship has been tumultuous as well, with rumors of breakups. However, as of late, it seems that the couple is back on track.

Fox has previously spoken about being misunderstood throughout her career, often facing sexism in Hollywood. She told InStyle in a 2021 interview that she had to "adopt a belief system that only I was going to take care of myself" because she was constantly "outcast or rejected." She eventually had a breakthrough. Fox realized she had been living in a "self-imposed prison for so long because I let other people tell me who I was or what I wasn't. I hid because I was hurt."

Fox can next be seen in The Expend4bles, alongside Jason Statham, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Dolph Lundgren, Tony Jaa, Iko Uwais, Randy Couture, Jacob Scipio, Levy Tran, Andy Garcia, and Sylvester Stallone on September 23. Watch the trailer below.

Hollywood can be a small dating pool. Celebrities hook up with each other in their same social circles. And there is no shortage of Hollywood divorces. The dating world of the rich and the famous is small for those who are in it. As a result, there are many celebrities who share the same lovers.

Take a look below at which celebrities have been with the same person:
