Guntry Club Opens in Fort Lauderdale With Gourmet Food And Shooting Lanes

South Florida now has its first “Guntry Club” shooting facility. The new private gun club in Fort Lauderdale features a members-only experience with a luxurious country club atmosphere for shooting enthusiasts. It’ called the Founder’s Shooting Club and it’s located in Fort Lauderdale two blocks east of the DRV PNK Stadium where Messi plays.
Founders and Apex owner, Victor Grillo, states “We wanted Florida to have its first ever ‘guntry’-style club. Our club is at the crossroads between a VIP gun range and an exclusive country club.”
It’s a private club with a one time initiation fee of $3,500 and dues of $199 a month. Along with the shooting lanes, members get.

So we’ve now been introduced to a new term here in Florida. Guntry Club. I kind of like it. The opening coincides with an August 1st announcement where Governor Ron DeSantis issued a proclamation dedicating August 2023 as National Shooting Sports Month for the State of Florida.
Founders Shooting Club is now open with limited memberships available.

Here in The Sunshine State we have so many amazing hotels and a hotel in Miami has made Tripadvisor’s list of the best in the U.S.
There’s two types of people on vacation. Those that look at a hotel as just a place to sleep. And those who enjoy every amenity a hotel has to offer and a good/bad hotel can make or break a getaway. Depending on what kind of vacation I’m on, I could go either way. But I do tend to pick a nicer hotel, especially if it’s somewhere I’ll be for more than a few days. I like a good pool, great bar/dining options and a room that’s not only comfortable, but a step up from the norm.
But what makes a hotel the very best? I suppose that each person has a different way of rating a hotel. Some may be most impressed by a warm and welcoming staff. Others may be most impressed by the interior aesthetic or a hotel’s culinary offerings. Maybe a bed that feels like you’re sleeping on a cloud. Or maybe great amenities like a pool, golf course or a spa.
