As Madonna is gearing up to kick off her Celebration World Tour, there is a special guest she hopes will join her on stage -- Britney Spears. Per Page Six, the "Frozen" singer, 65, wants Spears, 41, to appear at one of her five Los Angeles dates in March 2024. As we previously reported, the "Queen of Pop" was forced to reschedule her tour dates after being hospitalized back in June.

The pop superstars have been friends for a long time and even share the same agent. Spears even joined Madge on her Sticky & Sweet tour back in 2008. At the Los Angeles concert, the two performed Madonna's 1994 track, "Human Nature." Per Page Six, Madonna also wants to commemorate the 20th anniversary of their hit collaboration, “Me Against the Music,” which was released in October 2003.

Madonna recently celebrated her birthday in Lisbon, Portugal, with her friends and children. In her caption, she expressed gratitude for being alive and for being "able to put on my dancing shoes and Celebrate my Birthday!" Following her intensive care unit hospitalization, she has previously expressed how her children "really showed up for me. I saw a side to them I had never seen before. It made all the difference." Now, the singer is getting back to rehearsals.

The Celebration World Tour will be highlighting Madonna's catalog of music from the past 40-plus years. It is expected to be her first-ever career retrospective, spanning back to her 1983 self-titled debut album. Madonna last toured in 2019 and early 2020 on her Madame X tour, which struggled with production delays and Madonna’s recurring hip and knee injuries. Though the tour ultimately earned strong reviews, its late start time often angered ticket holders and prompted two class action lawsuits from fans. Madonna’s 2008-2009 Sticky and Sweet Tour is the highest-grossing tour by a female artist ever, netting $407 million. Meanwhile, her most recent Madame X theater run grossed $36.4 million.
