Popular Upscale Steakhouse Coming To Fort Myers

We’ve been getting so many new restaurants lately in Southwest Florida and a popular upscale steakhouse is coming to Fort Myers.

I always dining out a nice restaurant. One dish I prefer to order out, rather than cook it myself is a steak. There are so many good steakhouses between those independently owned and chains. One of my favorites is Connor’s Steak & Seafood. Give me their wedge salad and a filet with black truffle butter and I’m one happy girl. One that I visited for the first time this summer in New York City was Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse. I had the filet with truffle butter there and it was one, if not, the best steak I’ve ever had in my life.

A steakhouse is a culinary haven for meat enthusiasts. Not only is the food incredible, but I appreciate the warm, intimate ambiance. No matter which cut of steak you prefer, steakhouse menus typically feature an impressive selection of premium cuts, carefully aged and expertly cooked to perfection. Whether it’s a classic ribeye, a tender filet mignon, or a bold T-bone, they’re sure to deliver an unforgettable dining experience.

A Popular Upscale Steakhouse is Coming To Fort Myers

The Capital Grille is coming to Fort Myers in 2024. The restaurant has 10 locations in Florida including in North Naples at Mercato and at UTC in Sarasota. But News Press reports that a new location will be opening up at Bell Tower Shops where Mimi’s Cafe once stood. The Capital Grille is known for their steaks which are dry-aged for 18-24 days.

 

 

Three Florida Restaurants Made The List Of Favorites By The New York Times

When it comes to good restaurants, we’re lucky here in the Sunshine State to have plenty to choose from and three Florida restaurants just made the list of favorites by the New York Times.

We all have different reasons why a restaurant might be our favorite. Is it that every time you’ve gone there hasn’t been a dish you haven’t loved? Does it have a great ambiance? Do you get impeccable service? Do they make the drinks a little stronger than somewhere else? I love trying new restaurants, but there are also those I go back to again and again. I feel like just here in Southwest Florida I have a favorite in each city from Fort Myers to Cape Coral to Naples. And all for different reasons.

Each year the New York Times puts out their list of 50 favorites. To put together the list, the research is done by dozens of reporters, editors and critics who have the very tough job to visit hundreds of restaurants across the country. How do I get THAT gig? I may not be a critic, but I do love to eat. They’re not all fine dining restaurants either, it’s a very diverse list.
