Get Ready For Naples Design District Holiday Stroll
Holiday events are happening almost every night somewhere in Southwest Florida. Getting you over the hump of the work week, helping you with your holiday shopping, and just for general fun, there is a big event in Collier County Wednesday. Here’s info to help you get ready for Naples Design District Holiday Stroll. The 7th annual holiday party is even bigger this year and has a new twist.
What and where is the Naples Design District Holiday Stroll
The Design District encompasses the area between 5th Avenue South to 7th Avenue North and the east side of US 41 to Goodlette Frank Road. It is an eclectic mix of shops, restaurants and businesses that come together every year for this event. Because the area is a bit spread out and you might be wearing festive party shoes, shuttles are on hand to whisk you through the streets.
Businesses put on their holiday best for this progressive party. Stop in participating places for snacks, drinks and giveaways. This year, you can embark on a journey that mirrors the classic Christmas move The Polar Express. Stop at Platform 9 at the south end of the district for a seasonal cocktail at The Claw Bar. At the north end of the district is Platform 1 and a hot cocoa bar at iN’Dulge Treatment Bar. In between you can make a Christmas ornament, stop by a Mistletoe Photo Booth, catch fashion shows, decorate stockings and enjoy lots of sips and bites.
The event is free, however, donations are being accepted to support local projects and events of the Design District. Here are some photos from last year’s Naples Design District Holiday Stroll.
