Tinder Date Ends in Flames as Miami Woman Sets Car, Date, and Herself on Fire
In Florida, love can be a fiery affair, but one Miami woman took it to a whole new level. Meet Destiny Lenai Johnson, a 25-year-old who recently made headlines for turning a Tinder date into a literal hot mess. Forget candlelit dinners… Destiny opted to light her date on fire.
According to WTVJ, the saga began innocently enough on November 16, when our lovebirds swiped right into each other’s lives. The romance took an unexpected turn when Destiny, after some casual marijuana bonding, was dropped off at the Holiday Inn Express by her unsuspecting date.
Fast forward to November 25, and the flames of passion took a sinister turn. Destiny called her date to rescue her from the hotel. She spun a tale of a broken-down car in desperate need of financial CPR. Our Romeo, armed with $60 and a heart full of goodwill, was ready to come to the rescue.
Seems like a nice thing to do, but not in Destiny’s world. The cash offer turned her into a blazing fury, accusing the poor guy of being part of a grand conspiracy against her. Suddenly, a jug of yellow, gasoline-smelling liquid made its debut on the car’s front seat. Flame on!
Tinder Date Escape:
Destiny decided to light up the night. A flicker of a lighter later, and boom! The car, the date, and Destiny herself turned into a triple threat of flames. Her date, however, managed to escape the fiery ordeal, rolling on the asphalt like a human fire extinguisher.
As Destiny made a exit on foot, leaving her date and the flaming wreckage behind, the drama didn’t end. A few hours later, the police stumbled upon a scorched, naked woman who claimed she had blown up a vehicle. Guess who? Yep, Destiny.
This insane incident landed Destiny in the hospital with burns as her passport to the glamorous world of legal troubles. Attempted murder, aggravated battery, and arson. It’s safe to say Destiny’s love life has taken a heated detour. Talk about a hot Tinder date!
All 40 Miami Publix Locations Ranked From First To Worst
I woke up this morning to see Publix was trending. “Now what?” was the first thing that came to mind. But, as it turns out, it wasn’t a bad thing. Lionel Messi just moved to Miami and he was shopping at a Publix, picking up family size boxes of cereal among other things. I couldn’t tell which Miami Publix he was at. But a few people recognized him.
If Messi truly wants to embrace the Florida culture, he needs to pick up Pub Subs for the family. He’ll learn. But that got me thinking. How does someone new to Miami know which Publix to go to? We Floridians know that all Publix are not created equal. Some Miami Publix are much better than others. Sometimes it’s their location. Some stores rank lower because they could really use a remodel. Or, it could be the staff that alters their rank. Whatever you want to point at, it’s a simple fact. It’s not uncommon to go to a Publix that’s further away than your closest Publix because you like that store better.
The Miami Publix Stores Ranked
With the help of Google reviews we’ve come up with a way to rank the stores here in Miami. I counted 40, I’m sure someone will let me know if I missed one. Also, if you recognize which store Messi was at, let me know.
Floridians are passionate about Publix, and even if you say you never shop there, you have. We all have. Where else are you going to get a chicken tender sub buffalo style shaken? In the picture above, you can see in Messi’s cart that he has family size boxes of cereal. Are they BOGO this week? We’ll need to teach him about that, too. So from best to worst, here’s how the Miami stores ranked.
