Who’s the Scariest Team in the NFL Right Now?
How many upsets can NFL fans take? Seriously. Did you see “Monday Night Football” on Dec. 11? The Green Bay Packers fell to the New York Giants, and the Miami Dolphins fell to the Tennessee Titans. Oh, and Sunday came with its surprises, too. The Philadelphia Eagles lost to the Dallas Cowboys. Moreover, the Detroit Lions lost to the Chicago Bears. That last one hurt me, a Lions fan, the most.
What a doozy of a football weekend. So, who’s the scariest team to play in the NFL right now?
Well, if you look at the Power Rankings from ESPN, things have shuffled a bit. Okay, they’ve shuffled a lot. The Miami Dolphins are No. 5 right now, down three spots. No. 4 is the Eagles, down two spots. What’s more, they’re followed by No. 3, the Baltimore Ravens, who are up a whopping four spots. No. 2 is the Cowboys, up an incredible five spots. That Eagles win really helped the Cowboys, heh? Then, at No. 1, they have the San Francisco 49ers. Now, this is just ESPN’s take. But, it seems to be universal.
As the host of a NFL podcast, I’ve been talking to experts all season about the strongest teams in the NFL. Many of them come back to the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles. But, the tide is turning. Right now, I would lean towards a Baltimore Ravens vs. San Francisco 49ers Super Bowl. But, let’s talk with some other sports folks about it. Patrick Mahomes
Patrick Mahomes, of course, is the star quarterback of the Kansas City Chiefs. He’s considered the best quarterback of his era and possibly the next Tom Brady. But, aside from his skills, he also has a big personality. He has more than 6 million Instagram followers, and he posts a bunch of stuff up there, from football material to family photos.

Travis Kelce
Travis Kelce, the celebrated tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, is pretty much the most famous guy in football this season. Yes, it’s because of his relationship with Taylor Swift. I hate to make that a reason to have him named one of the best personalities in the NFL, but heck, even without the Taylor factor, Kelce has a huge personality that people love.

Dan Campbell
All eyes are on Dan Campbell this season, as the Lions all pulling off some incredible things. That’s not common for the Detroit Lions, either. But, Campbell has some of the wackiest ideas and quotes, and that makes him loveable. Remember that time he wanted a pet Lion at practices? I love this dude.

Bill Belichick
Bill Belichick needs no introduction, but we’ll introduce him anyway. He’s the head coach and general manager of the New England Patriots. He’s had some rough years as of late, but nothing can take away his glimmering record. Belichick just tells it like it is. He’s incredible with strategies, and that really stands out with his coaching.
