re Driving in Florida can be a challenge, with some roads worse than others, and 3 Florida highways have made a list of the most hated roads in America.
Getting in your car whether it be to drive to work, the kids to school, or to the grocery store can be a process. Here in Fort Myers, especially at this time of year, it seems the only rule of the road is that there are no rules. People are insane out there. Weaving in and out of traffic, using traffic lights as a suggestion and just overall not paying attention. I leave for work at 4:45am so that portion of the drive is relatively stress-free. But going home around 1pm is a different story. But I do know that other times of day are worse. I definitely feel for those having to drive in the typical morning and afternoon drive time’s. It’s rough out there!

While here in Southwest Florida, I-75 can be bad, it’s WAY worse in other places. After surveying 3,000 drivers, Volvo ranked the top 100 most hated roads in the United States. 3 Florida highways made the list. You can find the full list here.
Coming in at #12- Interstate 95. If you’ve been to Miami, chances are you’ve taken this highway. And chances are you’ve sat in some pretty heavy traffic. At #34 on their list is US-1. If you’ve driven to the Keys, it’s that section of the highway that people loathe based on how congested it gets, especially during season. The final highway that is on the list of the most hated roads in America is I-4. I too agree that this highway is the WORST. I don’t know about nationwide, but definitely here in Florida. I’m not sure anyone who has driven to Disney or Universal (anywhere in Orlando really) who hasn’t gotten stuck in this parking lot.
