Amber Rose attends the 65th GRAMMY Awards on February 05, 2023 in Los Angeles, California. Machine Gun Kelly attends Univision's 36th Premio Lo Nuestro at Kaseya Center on February 22, 2024 in Miami, Florida.
Amber Rose is opening up about her past relationships, and which of her exes seems to have earned more respect than the rest. Rose has been connected to many famous men in the music industry, including Kanye West, Wiz Khalifa, 21 Savage, Machine Gun Kelly, and, Alexander “AE” Edwards. Rose said this week in a new interview Wednesday (March 13) that one ex-boyfriend later apologized for his actions while they dated.
Appearing as a guest on The Jason Lee Show, the host asked the Philadelphia-born model about her repeat romantic history with rappers. She said confidently, “They love me, Jason. What can I say? Like, they love me. I’m not out looking for that.” She added that all of her suitors have made the first move.
The mother of two, 40, dated MGK briefly in 2015. Rose said that she and MGK, who was a rapper before pursuing an alternative rock career, are still friends to this day. Noting that aside from her ex-husband Wiz Khalifa, Machine Gun Kelly was the only one out of all of her relationships that apologized to her. “He was the only one that came up to me and said, ‘Amber, you know what? You were one of the best girlfriends I ever had. And you didn’t deserve to be treated that way.’”
After shouting him out for that, she also noted how “very happy” she is for ex Alexander “AE” Edwards. She shares 4-year-old son Slash with Edwards; Edwrds is currently dating Cher. Edwards and Cher have been dating since November 2022. Rose loves how when Slash is with them, “it creates stability” and is not around “all mayhem and stuff.” Rose also shares 11-year-old son Sebastian “Bash” Taylor with Khalifa.
After gaining some notoriety for being featured in a handful of high-profile music videos, Amber became somewhat famous due to her relationship with Kanye West. The pair dated from 2008 until 2010.

Celebrity Breakups and Divorces of 2023
2023 has seen a lot of celebrity deaths — and deaths in love due to breakups. Some couples have called it quits after years of being together. New relationships formed that looked as though they were meant for each other.
We’ve all wished for some relationships to have stayed together, despite not knowing what goes on behind closed doors. Celebrities are a prime example of not knowing what they are like in real life versus the facade of a perfect relationship they put out there.
Sometimes, fans are more upset than the celebrities who are going through the breakup! When Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn called it quits after 5 years together and a rumored secret marriage, fans professed they gave up on love entirely. Others used the breakups as a way to bash celebrities. Ariana Grande’s divorce announcement to Dalton Gomez caused viral videos of her alleged years of cheating on partners. As for the couples who share children together, our hearts broke for the ones we thought were happily ever afters.
Take a look below at all the major celebrity relationships that have come to an end in 2023.
