Southwest Florida's soccer landscape is about to change when FC Naples faces off against Chattanooga Red Wolves FC on March 8 at Paradise Sports Complex.

"It's extremely exciting, it's humbling, it's nerve-wracking,” FC Naples CEO Roberto Moreno told Naples Daily News. “More than anything though it's just a great honor to be able to represent Collier County and Naples on a national stage.”

The 24-player roster features athletes from Spain, Scotland, Ireland, and England, ranging from 17 to 34 years old.

Matt Poland is the first head coach and sporting director for FC Naples. His background in both European and American soccer made him the perfect choice.

The team joins United Soccer League One, a third-division league. Saturday games at 7 p.m. will feature matchups against Forward Madison SC, Tampa Bay Rowdies, and other opponents.

Family section tickets start at $11, while superfans can grab VIP season packages for $2,200.

La Barra 239, the team's official fan group, offers memberships for $65. Perks include store discounts and pre-game events.
