TikTok Challenge Prank Forces Cape Coral High School Evacuations; Students Face Punishment

A stink spray attack at Cape Coral High School sparked chaos Tuesday. Two students unleashed the foul-smelling substance, triggering building-wide evacuations. Staff rushed two workers to nearby medical centers.

Principal Ryan Jackson tracked the first incident to 7:30 a.m. The pranksters struck again at 11:30 a.m. These disruptions cut the academic day short, sending students home early.

After reports of propane-like odors filled the air, hazmat teams rushed to the scene. Students returned at 10:15 a.m. when tests showed safe conditions. Yet by noon, the stench returned, forcing another quick exit.

Security footage caught both culprits in action. The school plans strict disciplinary measures. 

Cape Coral police continue their investigation. 

School officials traced the prank's inspiration to a TikTok trend. The social media platform's viral challenges have sparked previous school disruptions across the country.
