Homeowners and businesses across Southwest Florida can now enter their holiday light displays into an annual online map, which launches in late November. News-Press and Naples Daily News run this free service, helping people locate decorated properties throughout the region.
Participants fill out a short online form. It asks for their address, how many lights they've strung up, and a quick description. Properties in Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Naples, Marco Island, Bonita Springs, and nearby towns can join the interactive map.
Visitors use it for self-guided tours around the area. Homes, businesses, and venues can participate for free.
This program returns for its second year after connecting residents with decorated properties in 2024. Both newspapers update the map as new submissions arrive during the season.
The online tool lets families plan routes showcasing multiple decorated locations in one trip. No special equipment or apps are needed once the map goes live.
Property owners wanting to participate should submit their information soon. The map goes public before December, giving decorators time to prepare their displays for visitors.
