The Naples Christmas Boat Parade will return to Naples Bay on Saturday, Dec. 13, from 6:15 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Spectators have several waterfront spots to choose from.
Watching is possible at Pinchers at Tin City, Riverwalk Restaurant, Naples Landing, Kelly's Fish House, the Boathouse on Naples Bay, and Bayview Park. Watching from Naples City Dock requires a $28.52 ticket that can be purchased online.
Boat owners can join the parade by submitting an entry online. Local sailors get the chance to decorate their vessels and cruise through the bay alongside other participants.
Those planning to watch from shore should bring chairs. Arriving early helps secure a good spot. The procession lasts more than two hours, providing ample time to see every boat as it passes.
This tradition draws crowds each year to watch decorated vessels light up the water at night. Many residents and visitors consider it the unofficial kickoff to the holiday season.
Parking and seating exist at various restaurant locations along the route, though some venues may require reservations or have limited capacity during the show.
