Airbnb Cracking Down On New Year's Eve Parties Airbnb is cracking down on users trying to dodge the rules and throw a New Year's Eve bash. The rental platform - which bans large gatherings - announced last month that it would restrict users from booking a one-night rental on Dec. 31st - limiting them to users with a "history of positive reviews". Now it's tightening things up even further - restricting two and three-night bookings as well.
