Meet Draco, this dog needs a home. Draco has been at the Gulf Coast Humane Society for several months. She is one of the staff’s favorite animal ambassadors. But as much as theylove her, they want her to find a forever home. Today, she made her way to the Sunny 106.3 studio with Brian Weirima.
Draco needs a home and we want to help her find one. Look at that sweet face.
Draco is a 6-year old mixed bread who weighs in at about 55 pounds. The first thing you notice are the scars on her back. However, Brian says they are just like the scars we have. They’ve healed, the don’t hurt and she doesn’t even know they are there. The first thing you might be wondering is if those scars were from abuse. However, Draco shows absolutely no signs of neglect. Brian’s theory is that the scars are simply from an injury. Perhaps crawling under a hot car and getting burned? Since she came from another shelter, they don’t have that intel.
What they do know is she is good with kids and seniors. She is a lovable lap dog, despite her size. She groans and grunts when she is rubbed behind the ears. Draco loves people and needs a good home.
