If you’re ready to ring in 2023 here’s 20 New Year’s Eve movies to get you in the mood.

It’s amazing that we’re almost at the end of 2022. I’m sure we’re all looking forward to what the new year will bring. But first, we want to make sure we end this year on a high note.

Maybe you’re making your plans for a fun night out on the town. Maybe you’re planning your menu to host friends and family at home. Or maybe you’re like me with a dog so scared of fireworks, you have to stay home for an evening on the couch. Snuggling up with my pup and putting on a festive movie to ring in the new year sounds like a solid plan for me. Purewow has come up with an amazing list to do just that.

The new year is a time to reflect on the past year and set goals for the coming one. Not only are there parties and special events to look forward to, but a lot of people make resolutions for the coming year.

Do you know the history of New Year’s resolutions?

Making New Year’s resolutions is a tradition that dates back to ancient times. The concept of setting goals for the new year is thought to have originated with the Babylonians. They made promises to their gods at the start of each year to ensure good fortune over the next 12 months.

The early Romans also made New Year’s resolutions. For them, the new year began in March and their resolutions had more to do with personal goals, such as becoming a better person.

We’ve come a long way since then, but today, making resolutions is still very popular. The most common resolutions usually have to do with self-improvement, such as eating healthier, exercising more, and quitting smoking.

If you need some inspiration, grab a cocktail and a snack, put some comfies on and enjoy!
