Florida’s #1 Tourist Trap Will Definitely Surprise You
This will probably come as a huge surprise to most anyone, not just Floridians.ย To be honest, I don’t think I’ve ever even heard of this place, let alone been there. But, to get the title of Florida’s #1 Tourist Trap, there has to be quite a few people making a trip out of it.
When you hear Florida combined with tourist trap, you instantly think Disney World, Busch Gardens, Sea World, NASA, the Everglades or the beaches.ย The place that took #1 is in fact The Coral Castle Museum.
According to a study done by BestLife, this Miami museum is #1.ย He wasn’t a monk, but Edward Leedskalnin did carve over 1,100 tons of coral rock by himself in secret for almost 30 years. Those efforts have culminated in a bizarre place called the Coral Castle Museum in Miami, Florida. According to the sculpture garden’s website, no one ever found or figured out how Leedskalnin managed to do all that carvingโฆ but we’re not sure it’s worth it to try to crack the mystery.
It’s for sure an interesting choice for Florida, with all the state has to offer.
