Here are your Weekend Vibes, what’s happening in Southwest Florida April-7-9. It’s Easter weekend and it’s also Passover. You may be entertaining friends and family from out of town, here to celebrate with you. If that is the case, there are lots of things to do when you want to get everyone out of the house for a bit.
This weekend
United Healthcare is putting on a huge pickleball tournament in advance of the U.S. Open Pickleball Tournament. Yes there is such a thing. In addition, we are still in the art show season although it will be wrapping up soon. There are art shows and also unique art exhibits all over Southwest Florida. In addition, it’s time once again for the wildly popular Cape Coral Bike Night. It gets quite a turnout. Expect some road closures in the area of 47th Terrace downtown. There will also be some road closures along Dr. MLK Blvd in Fort Myers on Sunday. It’s time for the longstanding, annual Dunbar Easter Parade.
It’s been more than 6-months since Hurricane Ian hit. Some days it’s still so hard to imagine. While things slowly get better, there is still so much need in our area. We understand things are still challenging for many many people. If you feel like getting out and about, we have a few ideas here. But then again, if you are not feeling so great mentally that is OK. Please take care of yourself. Here are some resources that might help.
In the meantime, here are your Weekend Vibes, what’s happening in Southwest Florida April-7-9.
