Police have arrested 42 year old Angel Rodriguez on murder charges after 31 year old Mariz Vasquez was found dead on the lanai of a home at 11791 Shawnee Road in Fort Myers. Rodriguez had been charged with second-degree murder and shooting into an occupied dwelling.

Autistic teen Sage Cambron has been found safe, and her mother is in custody, after police caught up with the pair in Mississippi. 15 year old Sage was found to be in good health. Her mother was charged  with kidnapping, interference of child custody and removing a minor from the state.

Charges have been dropped against a 14 year old girl, accused of discharging pepper spray at a school dance at G Weaver Hipps Elementary School in Lehigh Acres. Back in February. The case has been closed, no further action will be taken.

16 year old William Jenkins was killed Saturday night in a kayaking accident near the Sanibel Causeway. According to reports, Jenkins suffered from epilepsy which may have contributed to his death. An investigation is underway.
