Stevie Nicks was joined by Harry Styles during her July 12 show at London's Hyde Park to perform "Landslide." The performance was dedicated to Christine McVie in honor of what would have been her 81st birthday.

In fan-shot footage, Nicks said of the "Landslide" performance, "I asked Harry to do this, and it’s always heavy to ask someone to come and sing a song with you when you’re singing about your best friend that died so suddenly and so sadly. What I want you to know is that Christine was Harry’s girl, she was my girl, she was your girl. She was from here. And she loved all of us. And today was her birthday."

She continued, "It's taken me all this time to be able to even try and deal with this situation. One thing that my mom used to say to me when I was little, when I was hurt, she’d go, ‘Stevie, when you’re hurt, you always run to the stage.’ And that’s what I’ve been doing ever since Chris passed away is running to the stage, because the only people that have been able to help me to get over this has been all of you."

Nicks concluded, "And you have done that every night like clockwork. You have made me better, and I want you to know how much I appreciate that. And, so, we go on. Thank you, everybody. Harry, thank you. I thank you. We thank you."

In addition to performing "Landslide," which can be seen here, Styles also stuck around and performed "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around," which was Nicks's hit duet with Tom Petty. That performance can be seen here.

Stevie Nicks and Her Past Interactions with Harry Styles

Nicks and Styles have had many interactions over the years. Most notably, Styles was the presenter when Nicks was inducted as a solo artist into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2019. He said, in part, "Stevie Nicks is the first female artist to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame twice. With Stevie, you're not celebrating music from the past, she was headlining a venue this size three nights ago. She is forever current."

Like during Nicks' recent Hyde Park show in London, Styles joined her to perform "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around" during her Rock Hall induction. That performance can be viewed below.
