TMZ explains that the actress was let out of the Federal Correctional Institution Dublin after serving 11 of her 14-day sentence. They also mention that "the scheduled release date was Sunday, but apparently there's a policy that inmates whose release date falls on a weekend get sprung the Friday before."
Felicity served time for her part in the college admission scandal, where she pled guilty to paying someone to fix the wrong answers on her daughter's SATs. Dozens were involved, including actress Lori Loughlin.
Huffman will now complete 250 hours of community service. She is also required to pay a $30,000 fine.
