Supermodel Naomi Campbell has announced the birth of her first child, a baby girl, in a photo where she is cradling her newborn's feet with her hand.

The 50-year-old British supermodel captioned the photo on Instagram, "A beautiful little blessing has chosen me to be her mother, So honoured to have this gentle soul in my life there are no words to describe the lifelong bond that I now share with you my angel. There is no greater love."

As Campbell is notoriously private, she did not disclose any further details, such as her baby’s name or who the father is. However, she has spoken about motherhood in the past, as the Independent reports. In 2014, she told designer Diane von Furstenberg she “definitely” wanted children no matter what her relationship status would be in the future. In 2017, Campbell admitted to thinking “about having children all the time. But now with the way science is I think I can do it when I want.”
