In a TikTok video posted by Grimes yesterday, the 33-year-old electronic artist said she has "a proposition for the communists" by means of artificial intelligence.

Grimes said in a close-up video of her face, "Typically, most of the communists I know are not big fans of A.I. But if  you think about it, A.I. is actually the fastest path to communism."

"So, if implemented correctly, A.I. could actually theoretically solve for abundance," she continued explaining her theory. "We could totally get to a situation where nobody has to work, everybody is provided for with a comfortable state of being -- comfortable living. A.I. could automate all the farming, weed out systematic corruption thereby bringing us as close as possible to genuine equality."

"So basically everything that everybody loves about communism -- but without the collective farm. Because let's be real, enforced farming is really not a vibe," she concluded.

She captioned the video, "A.I. Is the fastest path to communism #ai #communism #farming"

One user commented on the video, "Bestie how u gon talk about communism when ur husband is a capitalist.....
👀"

To which Grimes responded back, "Haha I am not a communist! this iz a joke- but maybe the technocrats and communists could get along!"

Twitter got wind of this and here are some reactions to Grimes spiel:
