Lance Bass and his husband Michael Turchin welcomed their first children, twins Violet Betty and Alexander James, via a surrogate on October 13.

The *NSYNC alum shared the exciting news on Instagram yesterday with photos of the twins' birth certificates, including stamps of their little footprints. Violet was born at 17.5 inches long, weighing 4 lbs., 11 oz., while her brother was born at 18.5 inches long, weighing 4 lbs., 14 oz. Alexander was born one minute before his twin sis, at 1:24 p.m. on Wednesday.

"The baby dragons have arrived!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️" Bass, 42, wrote in the caption. "I can not express how much love I feel right now. Thank you for all the kind wishes. It meant a lot. Now, how do you change a diaper??! Ahhhhhhhh!"

Earlier this summer, Bass revealed the baby news, saying it had been "quite the journey" as he opened up about years of surrogacy attempts, failed IVF treatments and a miscarriage.

Lance and Michael, 34, said in June, “We had been talking about having a family since we met. We’ve been together for 10 years. We always knew that if we were going to start the family, we wanted to go for twins just because Michael’s a twin — he’s a boy/girl twin. And he just loved that experience. I always wanted to have a twin, but we’re like, ‘Well, that’s so perfect because now we can do one of mine, one of yours.’ It was a no-brainer!”

Bass also shared that they were anticipating an early November arrival, but hoped they'd arrive in time for Halloween saying, "I need them to be Halloween babies. They have no choice but to love Halloween because I'm obsessed and they're going to be obsessed."
