Blake Shelton will be getting his own star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame on May 12, and a couple of his friends will honor him, including his wife, Gwen Stefani.

Hollywood Walk of Fame producer Ana Martinez said in a statement, "Blake Shelton is one of the music and television world's most popular entertainers. He keeps The Voice audiences in stitches with his witty banter, and he has captured many fans' hearts with his soulful country voice."

She added, "To think that he began his career at the age of 17 is amazing. We are proud to have him join the Hollywood Walk of Fame."

Shelton has earned his spot on the coveted Walk of Fame in the Recording category for his outstanding achievements in the music industry. His name will mark the 2,755th star on the famed Los Angeles landmark.

The Walk of Fame noted that Blake has crafted 28 #1 country singles, garnered over 11 billion streams, and sold over 13 million albums and 52 million singles.

Shelton's Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony will be on Friday, May 12, 2023, at 11:30 AM PT on the landmark Hollywood Boulevard. For those who don't live in the L.A. area, you can tune in from afar. Blake's Walk of Fame induction will be streamed live exclusively at walkoffame.com.

Travelers with layovers in Nashville were surprised recently when they were having a drink or two between flights at Blake Shelton's Ole Red Nashville Airport Club, and Blake showed up to say hi and sing a song.

Blake came in wearing his casual tan jacket and a baseball hat. Shelton steps onto the small stage and thanks everyone for their support. He said it was the first time he has been to the airport Ole Red. He then sang "Ole Red," which inspired the bar's name. The bar has locations in downtown Nashville, Orlando, and Oklahoma.

The official Ole Red Instagram posted a video clip of the bossman's visit. They wrote, "Best way to spend a layover in Nashville." See that post here.
