When it comes to flying, I think anyone who has traveled through Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) in Fort Myers will agree it’s pretty easy. The most stressful thing part is waiting for luggage since the walk to baggage claim is so short. But did you know 2 Florida airports rank most stress free for travelers in the US? Yes, in the entire country. The #1 spot belongs to Tampa.
Tampa has been winning awards and getting great reviews from travelers for decades. I grew up in Lakeland and remember everyone raving about the unique hub and spoke design. Every time I flew home to visit family the easy of navigating Tampa was like night and day from Atlanta, New York or anywhere I had just come from.
20-years later I still feel the same every time I fly into or out of Tampa. However, if you have driven to or had to park in the garage the last couple of years, the construction has been anything but stress free.

I’m not quite sure I agree withe the #6 ranking. It’s Orlando. I will admit it’s been a few years since I’ve flown from Orlando. The terminal was quite sprawling with lots of walking which can be stressful for some. However, it was light, bright and airy, the kind of greeting you would expect when you land in Florida.
You might often see different characters in the airport as well which is soooo Orlando. So when you think of those aesthetics, when all combined, I can see where they could detract from, rather than add to travel stress.
