A new early learning center will open in Naples, Florida, by fall 2026. Children's Lighthouse picked Malcolm Robertson, a former financial advisor, to lead their expansion into Collier County.
"Our community doesn't have enough early education facilities, and the ones here often have waiting lists that last years. As parents of three young children, we understand the challenges families face. By bringing Children's Lighthouse to Naples, we hope to provide a safe, nurturing environment that supports academic growth and fosters strong values," said Robertson to Naples News.
The child care market in the U.S. now reaches $59 billion. Experts expect this number to grow to $88 billion by 2033.
The center will run three main programs: Lighthouse Bright for babies and toddlers, Lighthouse Cares for preschoolers, and xStream Quest for school-age children.
Weekly fees at existing locations run between $450 and $600. The Naples location's prices aren't set yet as they're still picking a site.
Children's Lighthouse, which started in 1997, plans to grow its Florida footprint in Fort Myers and Estero.
