Florida Gulf Coast University has signed a multi-year deal with sports marketing giant Playfly Aspire. The partnership looks to increase ticket sales, bring in more sponsors, and create more name, image, and likeness opportunities for their athletes.
"We are excited to partner with Playfly Aspire, generating new resources to best support our student-athletes in our pursuit of excellence. This partnership will better position FGCU for sustained success and aid in our mission to develop transformative student leaders while positively impacting the Southwest Florida community," said Colin Hargis, FGCU's Director of Athletics, to FGCU Athletics.
Playfly staff will work on campus to handle sales and NIL initiatives for the school's Division I teams. This is their fifth partnership in the ASUN Conference, adding to their work with hundreds of sports organizations across the country.
"We look forward to driving results for the Eagles, student-athletes, and the Southwest Florida community.," said Chad Cardinal, Senior VP at Playfly Aspire, to FGCU Athletics.
The waterfront campus covers 800 acres and serves 16,000 students. Since 1997, the Eagles have balanced academics with community work, logging over 5 million volunteer hours.
