Halloween snacks range from simple ghost shaped cookies and tortilla chips to elaborate caldrons or crooks with dry ice pouring out. I have a friend who loves “blood themed” foods. She starts with a pot of red sauce.
It’s simple because you can put anything in there and give it a spooky name. noodles become brain matter and ribs become werewolf bones. You get the picture.
It’s a great excuse to get creative in the kitchen with food themes too. There are lots of ordinary sweet treats doctored up to look like eyeballs, severed fingers made with charcuterie, and so much more.
I’m not a fan of food coloring or food that looks gross but tastes great. However, that is the cornerstone for Halloween events. You will find a mixed bag here.
