According to their website, Because of a Case currently has seven different charity partners. Individuals looking for a charity phone case and choose to help Minding Your Mind, Sea Turtle Conservancy, Wildlife Conservation Network, Charity: Water, Anxiety and Depression Association of America, Kind Campaign, and Operation Warm. All cases range between $10 to $28 and 10% of the profits go towards charity.
Because of a Case was inspired by the creators battle with anxiety. In order to shed light on mental health issues, they designed a case that would help make a person happy. They encouraged people to “find their happiness” with the #findyourhappinesscase. The design became a hit and their “customers started to suggest other causes”.
They noted that they “loved the idea that we could create colorful, trendy and fun phone cases that can brighten your day just by looking at it.” Because of a Case continued by saying “A phone case is something you carry around with you everywhere, and we were able to spread positivity through it. And in turn, we would donate a portion to help other people suffering from mental health issues.’
Recently, the company came out with a Protect Series line. Similar to an Otter box, the case is designed to be shock absorbent. Cases are made for the iPhone 7, 6s, 6. Aside from their phone cases, the company also has a variety of other products. Currently, some other products listed include PopSockets and t-shirts. All proceeds from these products also go to charity.
