Rod Stewart sounds off on Andy Cohen's 'Watch What Happens LIVE,' and has some stinging truths spewed about the ideas of a "Farewell Tour."

With Cyndi Lauper at his side, as she is touring with him this summer, Stewart was posed a question on how he felt about Elton John announcing that he would be retiring. BOY, did he have a response for the ages!

“I’ve never spoken about retirement," says Stewart. "If I do retire, I won’t make an announcement. I’ll just fade away...It stinks of selling tickets.” He goes on further to say, after Cyndi notes that some rockers tend to milk the "last tour" shtick that he feels "it's dishonest. It's not rock 'n' roll."

Well, shoot, Rod. TELL US HOW YOU REALLY FEEL. He seems to kind of giggle it off, but something tells me he might be receiving a call from Elton shortly.
