Police have made no arrests, but they continue to investigate a Sunday morning shooting incident in North Fort Myers. Police searched an area off Pondella Road for several hours yesterday. No ID yet on the victim.

Brush fires continue to be an issue with our drier than usual weather. A fire near Chuck and Ann Dever Park in Charlotte County burned several acres, but is now 100% contained. Also several fires reported over the weekend at MW Horticulture in Fort Myers

52 year old Albert Jacques, who refers to himself as “Knife Man” due to his skill with knives, was arrested over the weekend after threatening two people outside an Immokalee Dollar Store. Jacques has been charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

How Do You Lose 600 Chicken Fingers?

Two high school students got a fried dose of reality when their order of 600 chicken fingers went missing before their graduation party. The teens order the chicken and prepaid for it. When one of their mothers came to pick it up, she learned that someone else had claimed and left with the order.
No one is sure who took the order or if it was an accident or intentional but Maple Grove, Minnesota's Raising Cane restaurant managed to step up and fry up another order of 600 fingers for the party.

Principal Quits After Being Arrested at Strip Club during Field Trip

When D.C. officers responded to call a call about an intoxicated man refusing to pay his bill at the strip club on May 30th, they found Louisiana's Holy Family Catholic School principal standing in the roadway and refusing to move.
Michael Comeau must have been pretty stressed while in our nation's capital and needed to have some fun; he was on a school field trip with 7th and 8th graders when he was arrested and charged with public intoxication and open container. No word if the service dog he had with him at the strip club was charged with accessory. Comeau has resigned from his position.
