A proposed Cape Coral City noise ordinance has now been put on hold while city leaders work on the proposal. The new law would limit noise from 11pm to 7am, but would give violators time to correct the situation without facing a fine. The council will revisit the noise ordinance at their next meeting.
A Cape Coral couple are lucky to be alive after their car went into a canal while they were driving through a blinding rainstorm on a cul de sac on Bayside Court near the Caloosahatchee River Sunday. Both were taken to the hospital for observation.
