The gameshow's Twitter account just released a video with Trebek talking about filming for the new season and his experience with chemotherapy. "It's another day at the office for me, and an exciting day because so many great things have been happening," he says.
He then adds, "I've gone through a lot of chemotherapy, and thankfully that is now over. I'm on the mend, and that's all I can hope for right now."
Later in the video, Alex jokes about wanting Betty White to play him in an autobiographical film.
He ends the clip by saying, "It's going to be a good year."
Season 36 of Jeopardy! kicks off on September 9.
