John Legend and Chrissy Teigen say there's a certain thing about Pete Davidson that could be the reason he's captivated Kim Kardashian's attention -- his funny personality.

Gossip website TMZ asked John and Chrissy yesterday (November 3) what they think of Pete and Kim's secret dinner date in his hometown of Staten Island on Tuesday. This follows their amusement park hangout, where the pair were holding hands while riding a rollercoaster together.

Chrissy, who is one of Kim's friends, says Pete being a funny guy will work to his benefit since it is a quality that drew her to husband John Legend. Legend agreed with his wife, saying who wouldn't want to fall in love with a funny man?

Teigen said someone like Pete is exactly what Kim needs following some intense months with estranged husband Kanye West. Teigen didn't confirm whether or not Pete and Kim are definitely an item.
