Trevor Noah On Kanye’s Grammys Performance Axed: ‘Counsel…Not Cancel’

After Kanye West hurled racial slurs at Trevor Noah last week, which the comedian later responded to, the news of Ye's Grammys performance being revoked due to his "concerning online behavior" had Noah break his silence once again on the rapper.

Noah, who is the host for the 2022 Grammy Awards, weighed in on the Recording Academy's decision to remove the Donda rapper's performance.

"I said counsel Kanye not cancel Kanye," The Daily Show host tweeted Sunday (March 20).

Noah's response comes days after Ye attacked him on Instagram in a since-deleted post.

"All in together now... K--- baya my lord k--- baya my lord K--- baya Oooo' lord K--- baya," Ye wrote in a post using racial slurs.

Ye was suspended for 24 hours from the social platform for the attack which also targeted ex-wife's Kim Kardashian's current boyfriend Pete Davidson and comedian D.L. Hughley.

Despite being removed as one of the performers for the 2022 Grammys, although he was not announced as part of the lineup on Tuesday, Ye is up for four nods including Album Of The Year for Donda.
