Ronnie Wood: His New High Now That He’s Sober
Ronnie Wood, like many rock stars, has been very open about his struggles with addiction. While he’s been clean and sober since 2010, the guitarist has a new high, which he’s probably been getting a lot of lately.
Wood told The Sun that his new high has been performing live. He says, “The adrenalin high is stronger than any drug or alcohol. The natural high is the best one you can have, it exceeds drugs or alcohol.”
Wood also shares that his drink of choice these days is green juices, and he enjoys working out with his trainer to “keep my circulation going.”
Rolling Stones Return to the Road
Wood and the rest of the Rolling Stones kicked off their 2024 tour on April 28. The tour is in support of Hackney Diamonds, which is their first studio album of original material since 2005’s A Bigger Bang.
The opening night of the tour featured an 18-song setlist, which had a mix of the iconic band’s classic hits and new songs from Hackney Diamonds. Among the new songs performed were “Angry,” “Mess It Up” and “Sweet Sounds of Heaven.” The full setlist is below.
The next tour stop for the Stones is on June 3 in Orlando. A full list of the Rolling Stones’ upcoming tour dates, along with their opening acts, is also below.
